Unser ProLine-Sortiment an UV-Lösungen für Trinkwasser und Abwasser schützt Menschen seit Jahrzehnten vor schädlicher Kontamination durch Bakterien und Viren. Schon bei geringen Dosen bietet UV Schutz vor chlorresistenten Krankheitserregern wie Cryptosporidium und Giardia. UV-Strahlung wird daher weltweit für Trinkwasser als Barriere gegen Kryptosporidien eingesetzt.
Wird oft in Verbindung mit Chlor-UV verwendet, bietet es ein zusätzliches Maß an Sicherheit und ermöglicht einen geringeren Chlorverbrauch bei viel geringeren Kosten als Ozon- oder Membranfiltration. Bei höheren Dosen sorgt UV für eine allgemeine Desinfektion und bei höheren Dosen kann es je nach Designphilosophie noch Virenschutz bieten.
